If you have Bio-Thermo® microchips and want to digitally record temperatures or have multiple horses and want to identify each horse by their microchip, then we recommend a Bluetooth microchip scanner.
However, if you have a small number of horses and don’t have the above requirements, then you do not need to purchase a microchip scanner.
