EquiTrace is the future horse health app. As the only horse technology company founded by internationally recognized specialist vets and led by a team of horse owners and competitors, we truly put users first in designing our solutions.
EquiTrace was founded by Dr. Kevin Corley BVM&S PhD DACVIM DACVECC MRCVS and Jennifer Corley BVMS MRCVS DECVS in 2019.
As busy surgeons treating horses, both Kevin and Jennifer wanted to know the latest information about the horses presented to them. And so EquiTrace was created.
EquiTrace initially launched by connecting to the horse microchip scanner and translating the 15 digit horse microchip into powerful data. This was the start of what would later become a full suite of solutions to help manage horse health.
EquiTrace is the only company worldwide to connect to the Bio-Thermo® horse microchip. This powerful horse microchip not only plays a vital role in horse identity but also records the horse’s temperature from one scan of the microchip. This was instrumental in advancing horse health and early disease detection.

In 2022, EquiTrace launched the medication and later that year the breeding module to stud farms in Kentucky. To date, over 50% of the Thoroughbred farms in Kentucky are using EquiTrace.
The breeding module’s unique algorithm enables precise withdrawal periods, and the easy-to-use interface simplifies complex breeding exams.
