EquiTrace is a leading innovator in equine health technology, dedicated to improving horse health management through cutting-edge software. Our solutions enhance horse well-being and streamline the management of health records for both competitions and daily care. Founded in 2019, EquiTrace is now in a scale-up phase and seeking a Product Manager to drive the development of our equine technology solutions.

About the Role

As Product Manager, you will lead the development pipeline, ensuring new features and enhancements are delivered efficiently and aligned with business needs. You will oversee the sprint process, manage team coordination, and facilitate communication between developers, QA, and key stakeholders.

This role is integral to the growth of EquiTrace, as we expand our EventPass product (launched January 2025) and continue to evolve our equine health management solutions for temperature monitoring, medications, and breeding. Key Responsibilities

  • Product Roadmap: Own the strategic roadmap and ensure timely delivery of product features.
  • Team Coordination: Facilitate sprint planning, refinement sessions, and retrospectives to ensure smooth development cycles.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Work closely with customers, partners, and corporate accounts to align product priorities with market needs.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and remove roadblocks for the development team, ensuring efficient workflows and issue resolution.
  • Feature Development: Collaborate with developers and QA to refine requirements and ensure quality feature releases.
  • Strategic Oversight: Conduct strategic reviews to assess the impact of product decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Product Management Experience: 3+ years in a product management role, in a tech-driven environment.
  • Agile & Scrum Methodologies: Experience in managing development teams using Agile frameworks.
  • Technical Acumen: Understanding of software development processes; experience with technologies like React, React Native, Objective C, and Java is a plus.
  • Strong Communication: Ability to work effectively with developers, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Ability to identify challenges and implement solutions efficiently.

Equestrian Knowledge & Interest

  • genuine interest in horses and equestrian sports is required.
  • Experience in equestrian health, competition management, or veterinary technology is a strong advantage.
