EquiTrace expands with new HISA integration
The new HISA regulations for the ADMC program are due to launch on March 27th. EquiTrace has been working with HISA to develop an easy to use solution for the horse industry.
EquiTrace was founded by internationally renowned specialist veterinarians whose mission was to make the capture and recording of data a pain free and time saving process. With the new HISA regulations, EquiTrace has expanded its award winning app and is pleased to announce their integration with HISA.
EquiTrace uses the HISA flag system to show if the horse Can Race or Cannot Race. EquiTrace connects to a powerful Bluetooth microchip scanner and utilises the existing microchip to find the horse on the Jockey Club database and HISA database. Once the horse is found, medications can be scanned by barcode alone and logged to that horse. EquiTrace then allows user to review all horse records at the end of each day to submit to HISA or automatic submission to HISA can be instantaneous.
"Horse welfare is our priority. No one wants a horse to go untreated for an injury because of fears of a positive drugs test. I wanted to reduce stress for trainers, veterinarians and racetracks. Our novel way to support the industry for HISA is one of the many benefits of EquiTrace.”
